The Environmental Committee of TOMY (Thailand) Limited organized the Klong Khon Mangrove Reforestation Project in Samut Songkhram Province on Saturday, July 18, 2026. The project aimed to promote environmental awareness, enhance employees' understanding of the importance of coastal ecosystems, and encourage active participation in corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives for environmental conservation.
The program included an educational briefing on the significance of mangrove forests and their role in maintaining ecological balance, followed by a long-tail boat tour through the mangrove ecosystem. Participants also had the opportunity to feed wild macaques in their natural habitat, plant mangrove saplings to help restore coastal forests, and release juvenile mud crabs back into the ecosystem to support marine biodiversity. In addition, employees experienced the local way of life through traditional cockle harvesting and mud skiing activities, gaining a deeper appreciation of the close relationship between local communities and the natural environment.
The event brought employees together in a meaningful hands-on conservation activity, allowing them to experience the value of protecting natural resources while strengthening teamwork and environmental responsibility. The project was filled with enthusiasm, cooperation, and volunteer spirit, reflecting TOMY (Thailand) Limited's ongoing commitment to sustainable business practices, environmental stewardship, and creating shared value for the surrounding communities.
